This course is a low-threshold, learning by development project (LbD)
The project is integrated with the course V1475-3002
The main contents include:
•Basics of LbD and project-working
•Project planning, implementation, management, documentation and evaluation
•Co-operation with the project partner
•Meaning of evidence based social services in LbD, information retrieval
•Communication and groupworking in a project
• Multidisciplinary, intercultural teamwork
•Utilization of ICT tools for project management and documentation

This is a multcultural group, there may be some exchange students participating as well.

Objective

The student is able to
- plan, implement and evaluate a practical project in multidisciplinary cooperation
- work in an appropriate way in multicultural organisations and networks
- acquire and use information to support development, and use ICT tools
- communicate appropriately and in a goal-oriented way in the communication and documenting situations required by the project

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student has participated in the group, implementation, report writing and final presentation actively.
He/she has attended the required amount of contact lessons
Language and communication criteria have been met.
