Further information
This study unit is part of core competence studies and can not be chosen as complementary competence studies. The study unit is meant for those
1. whose language of education is other than Finnish and who have studied Finnish as second language, and for those
2. who have studies Finnish as a second national language (language of education Swedish).
After passing the study unit, a student who has studied Finnish as a second official language, but whose language of education is Swedish, will receive a marking of language proficiency in both written and oral skills in the degree certificate.
This study unit can not be taken if the education language has been Finnish.
Objective
The student is able to
- use the tools of language planning and language knowledge
- write pragmatic texts
- write online texts
- make different speeches and presentations
- act as an active participant in meetings and negotiations
