Objective
The student is able to
- provide initial information to a patient newly diagnosed with cancer using evidence-based methods
- interact with patients and relatives in a patient-centered manner and provide information in accordance with guidelines
- take into account the crisis stages of patients and their relatives and provide appropriate support
- identify own resources and coping mechanisms when interacting with patients and relatives
