Objective
The student is able to:
- act professionally and independently as a public health nurse or registered nurse
- perform clinical procedures related to the public health nurse’s work
- use empowering guidance methods as public health nurse in different operating environments
- lead their own activities and make proposals for developing evidence-based activities of the team
- act as a health promotion expert in a multiprofessional team and network, drawing on shared expertise
- use health and well-being technology ethically and in a client-oriented manner in promoting and treating health and well-being
- assess the functioning of the service system from the perspective of reducing health disparities in society
- communicate effectively through different means with clients and partners and in the work community
- promote the achievement of sustainable development goals through their actions
- assess their own competence and develop their own activities

Teema: Terveydenhoitajatyön johtaminen ja kehittäminen.
Harjoittelun LbD-tehtäväaiheita: Tiimin johtamiseen tai työn kehittämiseen liittyvä tehtävä esim. hakee hoitotyön kehittämisen näkökulmasta jonkin tieteellisen artikkelin ja referoi sitä sekä pohtii miten sitä voisi käytännön terveydenhoitotyössä soveltaa.
