Objective

The student is able to
- know the most important ways of presenting structures and reactions in organic chemistry
- name organic compounds, including stereochemical isomers, according to the systematic naming system
- identify the chemical and physical properties of the most typical groups of compounds used in cosmetics
- identify the main chemical reactions involved in the function of hair and skin products
