Objective
The student is able to
- describe the basic structure and functions of skin and hair at the cell and tissue level
- identify the structures of biomolecules occurring in cells, understand and be able to communicate their significance in cell function
- identify the most essential biomolecules occurring as raw materials in cosmetics on the list of ingredients and can explain their functions in cosmetics products at a general level
- assess the influence of biomolecules in a cosmetics product
