Rehabilitation Counselling Methods in Practice (10cr)

Objective

The student is able to
- counsel individual, group and community clients with the methods used at the work placement
- describe, analyse, and justify the counselling methods and tools they have chosen
- justify the statutory grounds for the work placement’s operating environment
- support and counsel different types of rehabilitees and rehabilitee groups in a goal-oriented manner
- reflect on what they have learned and connect what they have learned in practice to a theoretical background
- document the rehabilitation processes of different types of clients following the theoretical concepts and practices of the field.

Qualifications

The study unit Approaches and Methods of Counselling or equivalent competence.
