Introduction to Professional Swedish (5cr)

Learning outcomes

The student is able to
- communicate about themselves, their education and work experience in Swedish in an understandable manner
- use some Swedish-language terminology used in their own professional field

Teaching methods

Opinnoille ei voi ilmoittautua. Toteutus on luotu teknisistä syistä. Toteutukselle siirretään niiden opiskelijoiden ruotsin suoritukset, jotka ovat ruotsin opettajan puollosta ja opintopäällikön toimesta saaneet vapautuksen ydinopintoihin kuuluvasta ruotsin opinnosta. Vapautuksen edellytyksenä on, että opiskelija on osallistunut ydinopintoihin kuuluvalle ruotsin
opinnoille läsnäolovelvoitteiden mukaisesti, on tehnyt testit ja tehtävät, on yrittänyt tehdä suullisen ja kirjallisen tentin, mutta ei ole saavuttanut hyväksyttyä arvosanaa.

Accomplishment methods

The study unit is graded H (pass) if the student has failed to complete the Swedish studies included in their degree and for this reason has been granted exemption from the study unit in question.

The student will not receive any mark in their degree certificate of attaining the Swedish skills required of personnel working in bilingual public bodies and specified in section 7 of the Government Decree on Universities of Applied Sciences (1129/2014) and section 6 of the Act on the Knowledge of Languages Required of Personnel in Public Bodies (424/2003).
